Did you know Emergence Health Network (EHN) has a wide array of services for the youth in our community? This includes our School Based Mental Health programs which provide on-campus behavioral health services for students with a mental health concern and who are experiencing struggles in different life domains such as home and school.

EHN currently provides services within the El Paso Independent School District, Fabens ISD and Canutillo ISD.  School-based mental health services help to increase academic achievement, improve attendance, allows for expansion in academic activities and leads to fewer disruptions to the learning environment.  To learn more call 915-242-0555 and ask about EHN’s School Based Program. 

Emergence Health Network provides Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy which is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression and improve mood. 

TMS therapy has been demonstrated to be safe, well tolerated, and effective with little to no side effects.  Research shows TMS can be as effective as antidepressant medication and many clients describe TMS therapy as life changing.

The 89th Texas Legislative Session is underway, and Emergence Health Network (EHN) has been hard at work, establishing its priorities and preparing for the session. For 140 days, starting January 2025 the Texas Legislature is tasked with funding, overseeing, and implementing new policy that will affect Texans. Emergence Health Network monitors and advocates for legislative efforts that impact those with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Emergence Health Network has teamed up with the El Paso Children’s Hospital to emphasize the significance of supporting the mental well-being of young people in our community. This collaboration reinforces the dedication of both agencies to empower teens with knowledge to manage difficult emotions and most importantly, to offer them support through 988 and EHN’s 24-hour crisis helpline at 915-779-1800.
